What is Counselling?
Counselling is an opportunity to identify your problems and explore your worries, thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Counselling allows you the opportunity to explore:
Giving different options for change and exploring the consequences of implementing those changes.
The model of counselling I work with is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which is a type of therapy which focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour, and teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems. Link to mind
